Welcome to the Vampire family!

Hi! Let me introduce myself! My name is Valaryne Vexfang, everyone calls me Vala. I’m 11 years old and I am also the Princess of Vampires. I have got 1 sister she’s 9 years old , her name is Vinky Vexfang and 1 brother he’s 8 years old, his name is Victor Vexfang.

Victor’s kind of a book boy, that means he loves loves loves to read, unlike my sister she’s not always in a good mood to study, always playing and watching television.        

So I guess she is kind of lame (stupid), even when we go to school she’s always talking, not listening and not paying attention to the teacher.                                         Sometimes it sucks doing home works with Vinky. But I still love her. 

We live in Grand Ghost Hideout (GGH), it’s the safest place for monsters, vampires, zombies and other spooky things to live in. Everybody needs to stay hidden from the Humans and everybody never goes near to the Humans or their place. 

Our taxi is the Pumpkin taxi, it’s a taxi that’s made from a Pumpkin. You know, just like Cinderella’s carriage. 

We also study in the greatest school ever!                                                                     

 It’s called Royal Spook University, it is the most                                              monsterious, most beautiful, cleanest, cleverest and                                                     safest school in the Grand Ghost Hideout.

Oh! How I love this place!

 The Royal Approval Test

It has been a long weekend full of vampire tears since Vinky failed the Royal Approval Test. That’s the test when every Royal monsters have to prove that they have the ability to be a Royalty in their family, if someone fails the test, she/he has to be a part of other royal families. But thank goodness my mom and dad signed the One More Chance Letter at school, it’s the letter which parents sign for not to let their children move to another family. I’m so relieved 

The next day, I tried to take Vinky to the Cemetery Library to study. But she refused.                                                                                                                                           

”Why do I have to study? Mom & dad already signed the One More Chance Letter!”. She replied as she stuck her fangs out. Then I answered with a soft sound.

”Vinky, you’ve failed the test. You only have one more chance, if you fail the next test, you’ll be moved to another family. I’ll be sad to let you leave”.  But she shouted to me.          

”No! I don’t want to study! I’ll just play with my Best Friends, Millie the Princess of Mummies & Felicia the Princess of Frankenstein! You Jerk!”. How dare she! Well now I don’t care of Vinky’s test anymore, I don’t care if she fails or not. I’ll just study for my own test then.

So I went home bringing some books to study from the library without Vinky. We’ve fought really bad, I wish there was something that I could make it up to her.                  

Ting! I have found a great idea! I can make a Scrapbook full of our sweet memories and fun scraps! Just in case if she fails the test again & moves to another family. Fang-tastic! This is going to be the best gift ever!

I’ve got some things to make the Scrapbook, I’ve put:

      More than 21 photos of our family and BFs ( best friends ).

      1 piece of broken glass that we’ve broken when we’re drinking Ice Blood.

      3 Lollipop sticks from the time Me, Vinky & Victor were eating Lollipops at the sweets shop.

      6 beautiful fragrant Monster flowers.

      I’ve wrote 8 poems & 6 quotes on little cute pieces of paper.

      The first fang of Vinky that was loose 2 years ago.

      And more happy stuffs and thoughts. 

Done! I’m so glad I’ve been thinking of this for a gift! I hope she would pass the test. Because I’ve been worried about her since the test started. 

After finishing the Scrapbook, I brushed my fangs and got ready for bed. As I cuddled my little vampire doll, I thought how sad tears drop from my family’s eyes when Vinky leaves our family.

It was hard to have such a pretty and funny sister just like her. But she’ll still be a part of our family. We have so many special & wonderful times together, until now.

I frowned and smiled at the same time as I thought of those happy memories. We’ve been doing fun times, I’ve remembered we ate all the Cotton Blood Candy at the Count Fair, Vinky accidently farted Victor’s face 2 months ago, and Me, Vinky & Victor exploded the school lab by accident. Boom! Hihihihi!

“I’m so sleepy “. I yawned with a small giggle. So I went to bed and slept cozily. 

The next day was the final Royal Approval Test, which I’ve been worrying so bad about Vinky failing the test before. Well I hope she would pass the test.

The test was quite hard, Only a few of the students passed the Royal Approval Test, including me and Victor. It was a relief. Well, except Vinky, she failed the test again. And my mom and dad didn’t have any more One More Chance Letters, they’ve used all of it for defending Vinky in all the tests. It was hopeless. 

The Principle gave a letter to my parents so they can sign it to agree on Vinky's moving, caused by the failure of her test.  My parents can't stand it, but, rules are rules.         So they signed the letter that the Principle gave them and returned it to him. 

After the test, we went home, helped Vinky pack up her things, then I gave Vinky a big hug & the Scrapbook that I’ve made for her and finally we drank my mom’s famous Blood Tea in the living room while waiting for the taxi to pick her up.             

Until the last drop of Blood Tea, we waved goodbye to Vinky as the Pumpkin Taxi drove Vinky to another family.                                                                              

Tears dropped on our cheeks and my mom’s cheek became red as a rose as she cried.

“We will never forget you Vinky, We’ll miss you“. We whispered together.                  But sometimes, Vinky visits us and send postcards & letters to us. I know Vinky is far away, but her heart will always stay close to us.

My Wish Diary

Dear Diary,

When I’m big, I wish to have a Cupcake Store. But, I don’t know how to make one, so, I was thinking that maybe I could be culinary judge for food. Because, I’m so in love with desserts and culinary. Especially chocolate, macaroons, cupcakes and cakes. Yummy!

Also, when I’m big, I will build an English Course with, native speakers from Europe, Australia and America.                    It’s going to be amazing!

Sometimes I think that I want to be a huge CEO (Chief Executive Officer) who has a lot of business. Like restaurants, café, courses, hotels and many others.                I can’t wait!                                                                             

But, other than making my dreams come true, I have to continue my mum and dad’s business. Dad has got a guest house in Situbondo, and Mum has got a writing lesson in Surabaya, called IWEC. These jobs that are left by my mum and dad later on are going to be shared to my brother and sister. They both had their own dreams to come true.                        

My sister dreamed to be an Art teacher and she also wanted to be my co-worker in my business thing.                                                                         

For my brother, I have no idea what he wants to be in the future, he’s still a baby anyway. And I can’t actually speak baby language, can I?

Anyway, the dream that I always wanted to reach since the beginning was to be a big Traveler and a popular Writer to make English books in Indonesia.                                                                       Rarely, people in here almost never have published an English book, it was very boring.                                                                             

If I want to get English books from out of this country, I go to a special bookstore where I always buy most of my books. It's called 'Periplus'.                                                                                                  I never get bored of these lovely books; I am very fond of books, well, except most of the Indonesian ones.              Because of my inspiration within those writers, I’ve decided to be an amazing writer like them:                                                                                                         J.K Rowling - Book: Harry Potter.                                             William Joyce - Book: Rise of the Guardians & The Guardians of Childhood.     Tetsuko Kuroyanagi - Book: Toto Chan.                           Shannon Hale - Book: Ever After High : The Unfairest of Them All & Ever After High : The Storybook of Legends.                                                   Cressida Cowell - Book: How to Train Your Dragon series.                       P.J Night - Book: You're Invited to a Creepover. 

They are some of my favorite writers in my books.                                                      

Writing fan fictions are actually my expertly thing to do (but first, I have to find inspirations from other Fan Fictions in www.fanfiction.net).                                                              My favorite fan fictions are crossovers (or also called mix-up stories) of Frozen, Tangled, Rise of the Guardians, How to Train Your Dragon, Brave & Harry Potter.        

Movies are my absolutely most favourite! My favourites are Frozen, Tangled, Rise of the Guardians, Harry Potter, Mr. Peabody & Sherman, How To Train Your Dragon and more, actually. For the characters I love most are Jack Frost, Queen Elsa, Princess Rapunzel, Sherman, Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III, Hermione Granger and more.


Inventing things is my almost-not-exactly-positive dream.       I just want to invent something that the world has ever seen before. But I figure it out it’s quite impossible, isn’t it?              

Well, my positive dream is that my parents will be happy, joyful and proud of me, my sister and my brother to be the greatest children they have ever had.                                                                                         It actually makes sense that at these days, me, my sister and my brother can’t get along with each other very well. So I hoped that in the future, we will get along better.                                                         

Just like the story in Frozen, when the sisters (Elsa and Anna) were little, they were the best friends but slowly getting bigger, they became the worst friends. Shutting out each other (mostly Elsa shuts Anna out because of her powers) and Elsa refusing Anna to build a snowman.                                                                                                    But, apparently, as they work things out together with Love, they brought happiness, joy & love and got to be the best friends forever.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        I I was hoping that that will happen to us in our future life.


My hobbies are making Dolls, doing Archery (I don’t know how to do Archery, but I just love to do it if I could), writing fan fictions, reading books, watch movies, making Scrapbooks and play with my brother and sister. But actually, there are still more.

Because I live in Indonesia, and it’s always summer in here, my whole life dream is to touch a snowflake in the winter, feel the cool breeze in the spring air and play & jump into a pile of leaves in the autumn. It is possible to do these things; maybe I will do it when I travel to Europe someday.                        But I am interested in winter more than the others. And because of my fondness in winter, I always draw beautiful snowflakes in my art class or when I want to write a letter.  

I wonder what is it like in other countries than just Indonesia. I am so bored to be a melting ice in this hot summer day. I always get sweaty in the afternoon.

But, really, I have to admit it, Indonesia is really hot! I'll be nothing than a puddle if I stay in the hot sun. But, I think the deserts and India are much hotter than here.

I hope all of my dreams will come true...

Siberian Cat

The Siberian Cat

The Siberian is a very adorable and playful cat. They’re very affectionate and social with family, kids and pets. 

They are also cute and cuddly! Their fur is soft and silky, but unlike Raga Muffins, they are quite hard to take care of. But their fur is healthy and protective from the outdoor environment, they also love the outdoors. They’re very adventurous cats. They most enjoy big fields, yards, or forests. Also enjoys playing, running and catching.                                                                                                                           PERSONALITY:

The Siberian’s heart is as warm as her homeland is cold.                                    She loves people and wants to be near them, so expect this affectionate cat to follow you around, including to the bathroom, and to “help” you with all of your reading, TV viewing, computer work and meal prep.                                                                                                                                She’ll probably sit beside you or on your desk when you’re still studying or reading while listening to you reading. And she’ll also probably sit down on your lap while you’re doing your homework in your book or listening to the music in your computer.
Sitting in your lap while you comb or brush her fur may well be the highlight of her day. When you come home from work or school, she will be pleased to tell you all about her day in quiet, pleasant trills and chirps, with a few meows and purrs.  
Guests will find her to be a genial host; this is not typically a cat that is shy in the presence of strangers. So, she’s quite social. J
Besides being loving and attentive, the Siberian is also active and playful. She will instigate games of fetch by bringing you a favorite toy to throw. Any item can become a plaything for this clever cat, so keep jewelry or other fragile and precious items out of her sight. Teaching her tricks is a fun and easy way to challenge her agile brain.
Because of her heritage as a forest dweller, she likes playing with water—perhaps it’s a genetic memory of going fishing for her supper. Don’t be surprised if she enjoys splashing you in the tub, drinking from a fountain or faucet, or making puddles by batting her paw in her water dish. Isn’t that cute? J
As befits a working and hunting cat, she’s highly athletic and you may find her balancing atop a doorway or propelling herself to the highest point in the room. In fact, Siberian coaches may well be the secret to the success of Russian gymnasts.
Activity and noise won’t bother her a bit. Her calm nature gives her the potential to be a therapy cat.                                                                                                                                               If nothing else, she will be happy to snuggle with you when you’re down with a cold or other illness. And although she loves attention, she’s not needy and will wait patiently until you have time to play and spend some time with her.
You probably won’t get bored of their active and fun personalities. J

 CARING:

The Siberian’s thick triple coat should be combed or brushed a couple of times a week to prevent tangles or mats. The coat will shed seasonally in the spring and fall, and you may need to groom more frequently during that time. A bath is rarely necessary, which is a good thing because the coat is highly water-resistant. It can be difficult to get a Siberian wet enough to shampoo her.
Brush the teeth to prevent periodontal disease to make it white as snow, so the Siberian Snow Tooth Fairy would love your excellent work! J                                                                   
Daily dental hygiene is best, but weekly brushing is better than nothing, so you wouldn’t let some fur drop or fly around the room.
Just trim the nails every couple of weeks. And wipe the corners of the eyes with a soft, damp cloth to remove any discharge. You have to use a separate area of the cloth for each eye so you don’t run the risk of spreading any infection.                                                                                                                  Just be careful when you do these activities. You’ll need a grown-up to help you with it.
Check the ears weekly. If they look dirty, wipe them out with a cotton ball or soft damp cloth moistened with a 50-50 mixture of cider vinegar and warm water. Avoid using cotton swabs, which can damage the interior of the ear. Friend, please be careful when you clean its ear. You won’t like a cat that is deaf.
Most of the Siberian’s growth occurs in his first year and a half of life. Your kitten’s breeder may recommend that you feed her kitten food during that time to make sure she gets enough nourishment.
Keep the litter box spotlessly clean. Cats are very particular about bathroom hygiene, and a clean litter box will also help to keep the long coat clean.
It’s a good idea to keep a Siberian as an indoor-only cat to protect her from diseases spread by other cats, attacks by dogs or coyotes, and the other dangers that face cats that go outdoors, such as being hit by a car. Siberians who go outdoors also run the risk of being stolen by someone who would like to have such a beautiful cat without paying for it. If possible, build your Siberian a large outdoor enclosure where she can jump and climb safely.                  

WITH KIDS AND PETS PERSONALITY:

The Siberian has a bold temperament, and nothing much ruffles her composure. These characteristics make her an excellent choice for a family with kids. No nighttime monsters will get past the Siberian on guard at the foot of a child’s bed. She is happy to live with other cats and cat-friendly dogs; too, as long as they recognize that she’s in charge. Introduce pets slowly and in controlled circumstances to ensure that they learn to get along together.

                                                                                                                                        So if you enjoy outdoors, like to come into the forest and like to play outside, a Siberian cat is the most wonderful pet for you!
